North Yorkshire Police’s Protecting Vulnerable Persons Unit have charged a former York teacher with 23 sex offences.
The man is aged 31 and taught at three primary schools in York. He was charged with 23 offences including possessing indecent images of children, voyeurism, making indecent images, sexual touching and sexual activity with a boy under 13.
He was charged on 14 March 2013 and was remanded in custody to appear at York Magistrates’ Court the following day. He was released on conditional court bail to an address not in North Yorkshire. He is due back at York Magistrates’ Court for a committal hearing in May 2013.
The parents of children who attend all three schools have been notified of the charges.
