A man has been charged with rape and robbery in York.
Police investigating a serious sexual assault in York on January 2 2018 arrested a second man in connection with the case on Sunday, and subsequently charged him with both offences.
The 29-year-old man from York has been remanded in custody. He is due at York Magistrates’ Court today (January 8).
Police say they will issue an update on the first man who was arrested later today.
