A main road in York closed today, and is expected to stay shut till Friday.
Gale Lane is closed from its junction with Cornlands Road to a spot 90 metres north.
It is to enable a sewer to be connected to a new development.
Last week we reported how raw sewage was leaking onto the road near the shops and Lowfield Drive.
And the road was also shut for resurfacing works last week.
This time Gale Lane will be closed until midnight on Friday (10 September) unless the work finishes earlier.
