One man has been arrested after a pursuit involving the police helicopter.
The chase began after a car failed to stop for officers in Ripon.
The black 4×4 Kia sped off from Marshall Way at 11.30pm last night (Thursday).

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “After a short pursuit the vehicle stopped, and several occupants ran from the vehicle.
“One man has been arrested and officers and specialist search teams, including the NPAS helicopter, remain in the area to locate the other occupants of the vehicle.”
