A police incident closed a main North Yorkshire road last night (Monday).
The northbound A19 was shut at about 11.28pm between the A168 Sowerby junction and A61 to Thirsk.
National Highways North East said it was because of a “police-led incident”.
Diversions were set up during the operation. The road was reopened by 12.16am this morning.
