A crash caused rush hour problems in York this morning (Friday).
The A59 was partially blocked after the collision between Hessay and Upper Poppleton.
The AA reported that it was partially blocked and there was heavy traffic due to the crash on the A59 westbound from Hodgson Lane to Cat Lane.
It was first reported shortly before 7am.
The road has now reopened.
