The YorkMix broadcast bus was out and about around Selby district over the weekend – did you spot us?
YorkMix Radio toured around Selby, Tadcaster and Sherburn last Friday (19 April) – and then the Mix team joined in all the fun of Selby Residents’ Festival which took place this weekend.
YorkMix Radio’s Victoria Charles was joined by Laura Castle and Mixie the Monster broadcasting live from the bus as they journeyed around the district, discovering what the festival had in store for residents.
The bus went to Carlton Towers, Sherburn Aero Club, The Barn in Tadcaster, Riverside School, Arms Skipwith, Selby College and Selby Community House, before returning to the YorkMix studio at Selby Superbowl.
The YorkMix bus was also parked in the Market Place in Selby on Saturday (20 April) as part of the festival and farmer’s market, with our Elisa Hilton broadcasting live.
The festival, which encouraged residents to be in a tourist in their own town, was a great success.
