Late last night ‘one of York’s most wanted criminals’ was arrested, police say.
The offender was tracked down by a team including two neighbourhood constables, response officers and police dog Thorn.
In a post on social media, the force said the team had assisted in “the apprehension of one of York’s most wanted criminals.
“The male has now been arrested and recalled back to prison.”
