Don’t lose your head – as Six the Musical is making its royal return to York next year.
The West End and Broadway smash-hit musical has had previous sell-out success in York. It follows the six wives of Henry VIII as they take to the mic to tell their own personal tales – remixing five hundred years of historical heartbreak into an 80-minute celebration of 21st century girl power.
Six will be at the Grand Opera House York from Tuesday 14 to Saturday 18 October 2025.
Tickets will go on general sale on Wednesday 26 June.
Since its early days as a student production in a 100-seat room at the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the show has fast become a global musical phenomenon. Six currently has productions playing on Broadway at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre and a major US tour running concurrently.
Meanwhile, in the UK, the London production continues to enjoy its third royal residence in the West End at the Vaudeville Theatre and the tour continues its nationwide sold-out reign, now booking through to 2025.
Six is written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, co-directed by Lucy Moss and Jamie Armitage and features choreography by Carrie-Anne Ingrouille.
Casting is yet to be announced.
