A city street closes today for emergency roadworks.
Blake Street in York shuts from 8am today (Monday, 24 June) and will reopen at 6pm on Saturday (29 June).
A City of York Council spokesperson said: “Yorkshire Water are doing emergency repairs in Blake Street this week.

“The pavement will stay open. Blue Badge holders please use Goodramgate.”
Blake Street will close between the junctions with Duncombe Place and Stonegate for the sewer works to take place.
