Police are investigating a dog attack in Whitby.
It happened at the town’s bus station at about 6.40pm on Friday 28 June.
A woman got off the bus with her partner and their dog which was in a pushchair due to its age.

At that moment, another dog attacked their pet.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Her partner had to intervene to separate the two dogs.
“A male in his 20s had the attacking dog on a lead but this did not stop the dog from the attack.
“A female also travelling on the bus, appears to have met the male with the dog and an argument ensued before the parties separated.”
The male dog owner is described as
- white
- 25 years old
- of slim build
- with blond to light ginger hair
- wearing a light coloured top
- and dark shorts.
The woman who met the man is described as
- white
- aged in her early 20s
- of large build, possibly pregnant
- with brown shoulder-length hair
- wearing a striped top.
