‘Numerous thefts’ from cars in Sherburn-in-Elmet

Police are appealing for information after ‘numerous thefts’ from parked cars in Sherburn-in-Elmet.

They were broken into between last Saturday and Sunday (7-8 September), and various items stolen.

The incidents occurred on Weyland Road, Gatekeeper Drive, Tortoiseshell Close and Springfield Road.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’re particularly appealing for doorbell footage or any CCTV footage anyone on these streets or nearby have.”
