Emergency services were on the scene of a serious crash in Malton this morning.
North Yorkshire Police were asking drivers to avoid the area while they dealt with the incident.
The police posted this just after 11am: “Emergency services are at the scene of a collision in Malton and have closed Norton Road, Railway Street and Wells Lane near Yates.

“Motorists should avoid the area.
“Pedestrians can still access the bus and railway station.
“Thanks for your patience and understanding while we deal with the collision.”
All roads have now reopened.
