A man has been left with a fractured skull after being attacked in York city centre.
It happened near to McDonald’s on Blake Street at about half past one in the morning last Thursday.
Two men got into an argument then one punched the other, knocking him to the ground, where he continued to hit him.
Attack location
The victim was taken to hospital and received treatment for a fractured skull and a bleed on the brain.
The attacker is described as
- white
- in his forties
- of large build
- and bald.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’re particularly appealing for anyone to come forward who witnessed the assault or was in the area at the time.”
