A woman has been charged with arson after fire destroyed a bungalow in Boroughbridge.
The 34-year-old woman was arrested after the blaze on Springfield Grove, Boroughbridge, at around 11pm on Thursday (15 May).
That resulted in one bungalow being burned down and two others damaged.

The suspect was arrested on Saturday evening and she has been charged with arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered.
She has been remanded in custody to appear at York Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning (Monday).
Five fire crews were tackling the blaze at its height.
After the fire was out, North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service investigators and a police forensic expert examined the scene.
They believed the fire was started deliberately and police launched an investigation.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We believe that this is an isolated incident and have increased high visibility patrols in the area to provide reassurance to the local community.”
