A York fashion shop has closed its doors for good after trading for two years in the city.
Master Debonair, on Lendal, shut for the final time yesterday (Sunday).
A notice on the door is directing customers to its website or remaining store in East Boldon, South Tyneside.
Master Debonair sold formal wear for men, specialising in suits and accessories.
The shop opened in July 2023 in what was previously the Style House Interiors store.
YorkMix revealed it was to close in April. Company chief executive Simon Whitaker told us then: “The lease is up and I decided not to renew it.”
A note on the door says: “MD York has now closed. You can still shop with us at our East Boldon store or online.

“It’s been a blast. Thank you to everyone who has shopped with us for the last 2 years.”
Simon told YorkMix the unit has been let. The lease for number 15 Lendal has been being marketed by Montpellier Property Consultants.
The rent is £39,500 per year for the 858 sq ft retail unit on the ground floor.
Rates are £43,000, but the agents say an incoming tenant would be eligible for substantial rates relief.
