Police have launched an investigation after a stolen car was crashed into bollards in York.
At 8.15pm on Friday (30 May) a white Ford Fiesta drove into the bollards on Bramham Avenue, Chapelfields.
The driver and passenger then fled.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “It was later discovered that the vehicle had been stolen from an address in the York area.
“There are a number of offences under investigation.
“The road was closed for a number of hours while we investigated the scene and to allow the vehicle involved to be recovered.
“We’re appealing for any witnesses to the collision, anyone who may have seen the vehicle prior to the collision, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to contact us.”
