Patience was Channel 4’s biggest drama of last year, with an average of 4.2 million viewers.

It was recommissioned by the channel with York taking a starring location once more.

The series follows Patience, played by Ella Maisy Purvis – a young woman with autism who is navigating her role within the criminal records department of the City of York Police.

Soon her ability to spot crime patterns means she is a essential part of the detective team solving a series of improbable deaths across York.

Filming will continue in York this week – so keep an eye out for the film crew and cast!
