Heavy rain brought flash flooding to parts of York this afternoon (Monday).
Firefighters were called to help out at two commercial premises that were inundated by the floodwater.
A Harrogate crew went to an incident on Front Street in Acomb at 4.24pm.
It was at Acomb Pizza & Kebab House.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “This was caused by significant rainfall. Crews attempted to unblock drains on the road outside and water levels receded.”

Westfield Ward Liberal Democrat councillor Andrew Waller, who took these photographs, said Front Street was impassable for a while due to the floodwater near to the Green Lane junction.
But it has reopened now.
Morrisons in Acomb also had to close temporarily due to floodwater entering the supermarket.
At 4.29pm, Acomb firefighters went to reports of flooding entering homes in Walton Place, Chapelfields.
The spokesperson said: “The water had not entered the properties and sand bags were requested from the local council to protect them from the flood water.”
