A new ‘Korean-style’ shop and deli is opening in York.
K-Stop is set to be the one-stop place to find all your favourite Korean snacks in York.
The new shop will open at 8 Feasegate, in what was previously home to a Turkish barbers and before that, chiropody clinic Shuropody.
It’s expected to stock popular Korean snacks and brands, with the sign in the window depicting images of Korean corndogs, triangle gimbap, and the much-loved cup noodle Shin Ramyun.
South Korean convenience stores often also include seating and cooking stations inside, so customers can heat up and eat their food there and then.

The interior transformation of the building doesn’t yet look to be finished – so watch this space for if you can replicate the full ‘Korean-style’ shopping experience.
An opening date for the new shop is yet to be released, with the window decoration teasing that it’s ‘opening soon’.
The opening continues the regeneration of Feasegate. Recent incomers include insurance broker Howden, sushi restaurant Motto Sushi, the Anime Gallery shop and café, and upcoming Italian coffee shop Caffé Massarella.
