I’m not usually a big fan of Hollywood blockbusters but perhaps it is because this film is based on a bestselling book that it seems so appealing. Matt Damon plays an astronaut who is left on Mars when he is presumed dead and now has to find a way home.

Pink Floyd’s iconic album The Wall is brought to life in a new and exciting way by lead singer Roger Waters’ production. Featuring footage from The Wall tour Waters undertook for 3 years as well as an in conversation section with Waters and Nick Mason.
Not new but worth a watch
Fans of Horrible Histories will be in their element as the shows cast take on a tale about a certain Bill Shakespeare (Matthew Boynton) who’s struggling to find his way in life and then ends up getting involved in a plot to kill Queen Elizabeth I. You may even recognise some of the scenary as they filmed some of the film in our very own Minster!
Inside Out
Disney’s box office smash is still in the cinemas and brings all the Pixar magic we have come to expect. Telling the story of a young girl who moves house, we follow her emotions as she tries to cope with the changes in her life.

ROH Encore: Romeo & Juliet
City Screen are well known for showcasing the best of the country’s opera and theatre on the big screen. This time it brings ballet in the form of William Shakespeare’s most famous works to the cinema. The ballet itself was created by Kenneth MacMillian and celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.
