I’m not usually a big fan of Hollywood blockbusters but perhaps it is because this film is based on a bestselling book that it seems so appealing. Matt Damon plays an astronaut who is left on Mars when he is presumed dead and now has to find a way home.

Fans of Horrible Histories will be in their element as the shows cast take on a tale about a certain Bill Shakespeare (Matthew Boynton) who’s struggling to find his way in life and then ends up getting involved in a plot to kill Queen Elizabeth I. You may even recognise some of the scenary as they filmed some of the film in our very own Minster!

This time it brings ballet in the form of William Shakespeare’s most famous works to the cinema. The ballet itself was created by Kenneth MacMillian and celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.
