Officers are appealing for information following an attempted burglary in Sherburn-in-Elmet.
The incident took place at a property on Admiral Way, between 2am and 3am on Tuesday 7 January.
The suspect(s) tried to enter the home via the rear patio door.
Location
Although they were unsuccessful, their attempts resulted in damage to the property.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’re appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at this time, or who has CCTV or doorbell footage that could assist our investigation.”
