A car crashed into a tree leaving its four occupants injured and trapped in the wreckage.
Fire crews from Thirsk, Stokesley and Northallerton were called to the single vehicle collision on Clack Lane, Osmotherley, near Northallerton, at 2.48pm.
They helped two people in the back of the vehicle get out.

Firefighters then had to remove a door, the dashboard roll and a seat to free two casualties trapped in the front of the car.
All four were handed over to the care of paramedics. All were taken to hospital, three via road ambulance and one via air ambulance.
The incident was left in the hands of the police.
