A section of York’s historic City Walls walkway is closed for twelve days to allow for conservation works.
The stretch between Bootham Bar and Monk Bar will be closed to the public from today (Monday 18th August) until next Friday (29 August).
During this time, access gates will remain locked, with clear signage in place to direct visitors to points where they can rejoin the walkway.
