A serious crash has closed part of the A1 (M) and is causing severe delays.
The southbound carriage of the motorway is closed betweem J45 near Wetherby and J44 near Tadcaster.
Emergency services are said to be at the scene.
At 12:40pm today (Tuesday), AA reported:
“Road closed and severe delays due to crash on A1(M) Southbound from J45 A659 Wattlesyke (Boston Spa) to J44 A64 (York / Tadcaster). Congestion to J46 (Wetherby).”
