Emergency services were called in after a person became trapped on a cliff face.
It happened at 12.51am today (Wednesday) at Gristhorpe Sands near Filey.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crew from Filey and Scarborough were mobilised to reports of a person stuck on a cliff face.
