Fake notes are being used in a North Yorkshire town

Fake £20 notes are circulating in a North Yorkshire town and being used to pay for things.

The offences have taken place on several occasions across Northallerton. 

One of the incidents occurred on Thursday 31 October, at Asda Petrol Station on Darlington Road.

Location coordinates

The staff reported to have received fake £20 notes as a payment for goods.

Please contact North Yorkshire Police if you recognise the person pictured on the CCTV image, as he may have information that will assist with their investigation.
