Firefighters tracked down a fire after getting reports of smoke in York this morning (Saturday).
They were called out to the Huntigton area at 10.50am.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “York crew attended the area following reports of black smoke.
“On arrival, crews located a a small fire consisting of wood and debris. Backpack sprayer used to extinguish.
“Police also attended and gave advice for persons in attendance with second fire in the open.”
