Firefighters have been tackling a major blaze in Boroughbridge overnight.
The service received “numerous calls” about the incident, despatching crews to the scene at 10.55pm.
At the height of the property fire, crews from Ripon, Knaresborough, Harrogate, Acomb and Thirsk and the aerial appliance from Harrogate were involved.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Fire affected 100% of the property and caused damage to property next door.
“Crews used 12 breathing apparatus, six hoses, small tools and thermal imaging to extinguish the fire.
“Crews are currently still on scene.”
