Police are appealing for witnesses to an allegedly racist assault against children at a York playground.
It happened at the play park off Alcuin Avenue at around 1.45pm on Monday 26 May.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “A group of people, believed to be a woman and three children, are alleged to have been involved in an altercation with a group of children at the park.

“It is alleged racist language was used towards the group of children before being kicked by the suspects.
“We are appealing for any witnesses of the incident who saw the altercation, or the language being used, to contact us and provide details to assist our investigation.”
