Emergency services have responded to a large house fire in Haxby this morning.
Firefighters, police officers, and paramedics are at the scene at Windmill Way in the York village.
Two elderly people have been safely evacuated from the house.
Parts of the semi-detached bungalow’s roof have completely collapsed and there are clouds of smoke rising through the building.
It’s currently unknown what started the blaze.
