John Lewis will be opening till 8pm six nights a week through till Christmas.
The department store at the Vangarde Shopping Centre is extending its opening hours when it starts trading again on 2 December, it announced today.
The hours will be:
- 9am to 8pm Monday – Saturday
- 10.30am, browsing till 11am to 5pm on Sunday.
Branch manager Kylie Gilson said: “We are delighted to welcome our customers back to John Lewis & Partners York on Wednesday.
“Christmas is such a special time for us and we’ve been working hard over the last four weeks to make sure our shop is at its absolute best to offer all the products and services you’ve missed.
“We’d like to wish all our customers a very happy, and safe, Christmas. “
