Police are at the scene of a crash south of York this afternoon (Monday, 24 February).
It’s on Skipwith Road, between Skipwith and Escrick.
According to one report, the collision has left one car on its roof.
Traffic is very slow on the road due to the incident.
Slow traffic is reported on Stockton Lane in York this morning (Thursday, 16 January).
The AA is reporting the road is closed both ways from Hopgrove Lane South to Pasture Lane.
There are roadworks there today.
A lorry fire has brought traffic to a standstill on the A1M this afternoon (Wednesday, 15 January).
At 12.54pm, North Yorkshire Police posted on X: “We’re currently in attendance at a HGV fire on the A1 (M) south at Junction 42 (South Milford).
“Traffic is currently stopped on the north and southbound carriageways. Motorists should expect delays and if possible find an alternative route.”
A crash has closed a road in Sherburn in Elmet.
Low Street is shut both ways from Eversley Garth Crescent to Milford Road this morning (Wednesday, 15 January).
It follows a crash first reported just after 8pm last night.
Crash investigation work is now underway, the AA reports.
A crash in York is causing rush-hour congestion on a busy York road.
It’s on Tadcaster Road near its junction with Nelson’s Lane, and was reported by York Travel at 4.59pm.
There is slow-moving traffic in both directions.
Traffic is back to normal on the A64 York Outer Ring Road this afternoon (Monday, 9 December).
A car fire cause significant delays on the northbound section of the road near Grimston Bar this morning.
The road has now been closed and traffic is back to normal.
