Because it’s half term, we had a quieter rush hour.
But the holiday does mean traffic is building during the day. And that has led to congestion on a northern stretch of the outer ring road this morning (Monday, 30 May).
It is on the A64 between the Barton Hill Crossroads and the A1237 Hopgrove Roundabout.
Good news; the collision that was partially blocking the A1237 at Moor Lane has been cleared.
Traffic is flowing fairly freely around the roundabout and the outer ring road.
A crash is partially blocking a lane on the outer York ring road.
It is on the A1237 at Moor Lane and was first reported at 7.20am today (Monday, 30 May).
According to the AA, the incident is causing heavy traffic in the area.

The earlier crash on Burton Stone Lane in York has been cleared.
Traffic is flowing freely in the area.
It’s quiet on the roads this morning, probably due to it being half term and Jubilee week.
A crash has been reported on a York road this morning (Monday, 30 May).
It happened on Burton Stone Lane around 6am.
We have no further details, but traffic is said to be coping well.
