We reported earlier a crash on the A64 near Tadcaster.
The incident has been cleared and traffic is flowing again.
A crash has partially blocked the A64 this morning (Tuesday, 7 March).
It is on the A64 eastbound after the A659, east of Tadcaster.
Long tailbacks are being reported, reaching to Bilbrough. More as we get it.
Two cars and a lorry have crashed on a main North Yorkshire road this evening (Monday, 6 March).
Police are asking drivers to avoid the A170 at Brompton by Sawdon, west of Scarborough after the collision.
The road is blocked both ways. A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Please avoid the area while we work at the scene, and find alternative routes for your journeys.”
According to the AA it was first reported at 4.40pm. It says: “Road blocked and queueing traffic due to crash, two cars and a lorry involved on A170 High Street both ways from West Brow to Cayley Lane.”
A crash on the A19 this morning (Monday, 27 February) has now been cleared.
We reported earlier that the collision was at Escrick, at the junction of Skipwith Road.
The incident is now over. Traffic queues that had built up on the road is slowly clearing.
