A motorist escaped from a crash on the on the A1M last night with only minor injuries.
It happened as heavy rain froze on untreated roads and pavements across North Yorkshire.
The car left the carriageway and ended up smashed in the verge.
Yorkshire Ambulance crews treated the occupant at the scene.
