A man has been taken to hospital after being found with head injuries.
He was discovered in Brompton at 5.49pm last night (Monday).
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Whilst returning from an earlier incident, a crew from Northallerton came across a male, aged 82 years, who was laid in the road with two significant head injuries.
“The crews provided first aid to the male who was conscious and breathing and thought to have fallen, before he was taken to James Cook Hospital, via road ambulance.”
