A man has appeared in court charged with an assault in Acomb.
And police are appealing for witnesses as part of their ongoing investigation.
A 38-year-old man appeared at York Magistrates’ Court on Monday (May 7).
He has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm to a man in his 50s in Acomb.
Anyone who witnessed any incident in the York Road area between 6pm and 7pm on Saturday (May 5), and has not already spoken to police, is asked to contact the officer below.
