A man has appeared in court following an alleged assault at York Station.
The incident happened at the station at around 6.15pm on Saturday (6 September).
Police went to the scene following reports of an assault.
A man was treated by paramedics at the station then taken to hospital.
On Tuesday (9 September) Connor James Walker, aged 28, of Park Road, Durham was arrested in connection with the incident and was charged with grievous bodily harm.
He appeared at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court on Wedneday and was remanded.
He will next appear at Durham Crown Court on Thursday 9 October for a plea and direction hearing.
