Police are investigating a serious sexual assault in York
They have taped off an area of the pavement on Micklegate as part of their inquiries.
The cordon is around the walkway which separates cocktail bar Jalou York and the Travelodge Hotel.

Two police vans are also on the scene.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We were called with a report of an incident in the city centre, shortly after 3am today.
“Following immediate enquiries, we located and arrested a suspect, a man in his 20s. He remains in custody at this time.
“The victim, a woman, is receiving specialist support from officers.
“As part of our ongoing investigation, a location on Micklegate has been cordoned-off for forensic examination.”
The pavement is passable with care, and Micklegate remains open to traffic.
