Police are investigating a fight near a York pub.
It happened on the corner of Lowther Street next to the Punch Bowl at about 8.30pm on Wednesday 10 July.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “An altercation occurred between a man and woman and a man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and criminal damage.”
They are appealing for information that could assist in their investigation.
