Police are investigating after a man was bitten by a dog in York.
It happened around 7pm on Sunday 6 October, in Nelson’s Lane near to Nelson’s Court, off Tadcaster Road.
A man was walking a German Shepherd style dog on an extendable lead.
Incident location
It bit another man, causing injury to his arm and tearing to his clothing.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’re particularly appealing for information about the identity of the dog owner who is described as a white man, 40-50 years old, with longish hair and wearing a bulky coat and jeans.”
