A man in his 80s was seriously injured after being attacked in York city centre.
It happened outside Lloyds Bank on Piccadilly between 12.15pm and 12.30pm last Tuesday (1 October).
The victim was walking along Piccadilly when he was approached by another man.
Incident location

He was pushed to the floor and suffered serious injuries, including a broken leg.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Extensive CCTV and other enquiries are ongoing, and officers want to speak with anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, and may have seen something that could assist the investigation.”
