A man was attacked outside a York city centre sandwich shop and sustained serious facial injuries.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the assault which took place outside Subway in Clifford Street.
The victim, a 21-year-old man from Selby, was badly hurt. The attack took place between 2.30am and 2.45am on Sunday, November 8.
