A car was stuck in woodland by the side of the A1M after a crash in North Yorkshire.
It happened on the northbound carriageway at 8.12pm last night (Sunday).
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from Richmond responded to a two vehicle road traffic collision on the A1 motorway.
“One vehicle was stuck inside some woodland on the side of the road. All drivers and passengers were out prior to fire crews arrival and in the hands of ambulance and police.
“Crews isolated the vehicle in the woodland and assisted police with scene safety. All casualties were taken to hospital via road with non life threatening injuries.”
