It’s nearly April, but nobody’s told the weather.
Snow and ice are set to make travel conditions tricky in North Yorkshire today.
A yellow weather warning for ice across York and North Yorkshire is in force until 10am today.
And while some areas are unaffected by snow, other roads have been affected – particularly in hillier areas.
York got a light smattering of snow, but the city roads are clear. It is snowing in Selby but the roads are clear.
The cold snap is expected to last until the weekend when slightly warmer weather will come in from the west, bringing unsettled conditions.
