Police are appealing for information following an incident involving a lorry and a cyclist in North Yorkshire.

It happened on the B1223 New Road in the Ulleskelf area of Tadcaster, at around 12:35 pm last Thursday (20 March).

Near some temporary traffic lights, a cyclist had to take evasive action to avoid being hit by a lorry as it tried to overtake.

Location

A short time later, further up the road, the lorry driver made threats towards the cyclist.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said:

“We are appealing to any motorists or witnesses in the area who may have caught the lorry and either of the incidents on their dashcam, or saw what happened.”
