Police have made an arrest after a chase in York last night (Saturday).
It happened after officers spotted two people acting suspiciously in the city centre.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Officers kept a close watch, and after a brief chase, the pair were stopped in the Bootham area.
“One male was arrested for possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
“This led to two further Section 18 searches, where additional drugs were found.”
The police added: “We’re committed to keeping York safe and tackling crime head-on. Keep reporting suspicious activity.”
