Police are at an incident in Scarborough this morning.
They have cordoned off Scarborough Cliff Bridge, also known as Scarborough Spa Bridge.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are currently dealing with an incident at the Scarborough Spa bridge.
“A cordon is in place around the bridge and is expected to be for most of the morning.
“Members of the public are asked to avoid the area.”
The AA reports: “Road closed due to police incident on Valley Road both ways from Ramshill Road to Foreshore Road. Traffic is coping well.”
