A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Over the weekend we issued an appeal to find a wanted 33-year-old man with links to Northallerton, Harrogate and Stockton-on-Tees.
“He has now been arrested.
“Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal.”
Police hunt this man after sex crime and arson attack

Police are hunting for this man – and are asking the public for their help.
He is John Donaldson, aged 33.
Donaldson has links to Northallerton, Harrogate and his home town of Stockton-on-Tees.
He’s wanted in connection with a sexual offence and arson. The incidents took place in the Hambleton area of North Yorkshire.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “If you have information about where he is, please call us on 101 and press 1 to speak to our control room.
“If you can see him now, please dial 999 immediately.”
